This Ruby is a difficult one to find in natural form. We purchased this one directly from the cutting houses in Thailand. The deep Red Pink color is a Corundum with a Mohs hardness of 9. The only thing harder is a Diamond! Did you know that rubies are the rarest of all of the precious gemstones! This is the one the Earth made the least of!
